The month of October is generally the busiest time for our studio when it comes to engagement sessions. The changing of the colours and cooler temperatures offer a nice contrast to summer aesthetics that we often associate with weddings. While we weren't able to do as many engagement sessions last fall due to *ahem* Covid, we were able to photograph some for our 2021 couples.
In this blog, we are showcasing Vivian and Seb's engagement session at the Dominium Arboretum. As many of you know, the Arboretum, just outside of downtown Ottawa, is one of our favourite spots for engagement sessions. It has the right combination of lush foliage, water scenes (including waterfowl), and giant trees, with the added benefit of being centrally located.
Vivian and Seb, who we've had the pleasure of knowing for many years now, were a delight to photograph! They were a natural in front of the camera, with obvious chemistry and game to pretty much try anything to get some awesome photos. We have so many pictures of this gorgeous couple just laughing and goofing off. Still, in between, we were able to capture some pretty romantic ones as well. Have to be honest, we’re super psyched to be photographing their wedding. We love these two, and we can't wait for them to tie the knot in Spain this fall!!
