Last weekend, I attended my first ever styled photo shoot in Kleinburg, Ontario. The photo shoot was organized by Andrew Maidanik of Prophoto Academy. The wedding masterclass is intended to give students the essential skills of photographing weddings. It is meant to recreate an actual wedding day, beginning with "getting ready" shots, detail shots (ring, flowers, dress, shoes), and later bride and groom portraiture.

The theme was very bohemian, complete with a vintage limo. Kleinburg, Ontario, which interestingly, is only a 10-minute drive from where I grew up in Vaughan, was a perfect setting for this theme. The main street, with its heritage building, provided us with a fantastic backdrop on which to pose our bride and groom. It is no surprise that Kleinburg is host to countless weddings every year.
