When Lina told me that she wanted to have their engagement shoot in Wakefield, a town an hour away from Ottawa, I was ecstatic. I've only driven by this beautiful, little town once and to photograph Lina and Justin there was something I did not want to pass on.
For Lina and Justin, Wakefield has a special place in their hearts. It is where they had many of their first few dates. While waiting for Justin, Lina recalled that he first said "I love you" to her on the deck chairs of Wakefield Mill overlooking the Gatineau River. Walking around town, I can tell that this is a place they love to be in, especially in cool summer evenings like this one. We started off at the famous covered bridge, moved to the mill, and ended our shoot at Riverside Rd. lookout.
Lina and Justin love travelling and marriage is but another adventure they are ready to take on! Thank you for the great shoot, Lina and Justin. :)
